Shiprepair Baltic Ltd.
Our shiprepair and shipbuilding yard is situated in the city of Kaliningrad which is the only non-freezing port of Russian Federation on the Baltic Sea. Starting since 1946 we have specialized in repair of sea cargo ships and fishing vessels as well as river-sea going and port fleet vessels.
In 2003 our yard mastered production of metal structures of various complexity levels and started building of small tonnage ships. Today our yard has equipment, production facilities and technologies corresponding to the modern requirements to the quality of shiprepair as well as to requirements of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping and other classification societies. The harbor wall is 600 m long and up to 7.5 m deep. There are crane runways for 4 portal cranes of up to 32 tons of lifting capacity.
During last 5 years we have repaired about 200 vessels.
On average we repair per year:
- up to 5 ships in major repairs category;
- up to 15 ships in mid-life repairs category;
- up to 20 ships in current repairs category.
Presently we co-operate with about 20 companies specializing in repair of ship equipment, mechanisms as well as apparatus.
